Lura Limani returns again this year as a speaker within the school
Lura Limani is a writer, editor and researcher from Prishtina. She is one of the founders of the independent literary zine and publishing house Lirindja and former editor-in-chief of Prishtina Insight. Her essays and journalistic works have been published in Prishtina Insight, Balkan Insight, Osservatorie Balcani i Caucaso, etc. Limani is one of the founders of the Oral History Initiative, a living archive of the life stories of a woman from Kosovo. Limani is the co-author of “BOOM” (2020), a publication that documents the Kosovo pop and rock music scene in the 1980s and currently she is the Executive Director at the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS).
School for Critical Thinking and Writing – Pikëpmaja, comes as a need to provide an advanced program for young men and women who want to benefit from deeper skills in dealing with various issues through writing. Unlike the basic module, Pikëpmaja, among other things, offers opportunities for developing knowledge for analyzing data collected for the research project, identifying the research problem, interviewing techniques and strategies, developing knowledge for citation and compilation of the list of references, development of knowledge about argumentation and counterargumentation, etc. During the five days of the school, participants will also be provided with advanced content on active citizenship, youth development and empowerment, and social issues.
